CaPow has raised $7.5 million in a seed funding round to bring its battery-free, wireless energy delivery system to autonomous robotics. The company’s technology eliminates the need for charging downtime and provides constant power to robotic environments. The funding round was led by IL Ventures and co-invested by Mobilion VC, Payton Planar Magnetics, Doral Energy-Tech Ventures, Mobilitech Capital, and angel investor Ray Nissan. The system accommodates multiple users and can transfer power over large distances and in the presence of metal and debris. CaPow’s technology is being well received by the logistics sector and has the potential to be applied in the wider mobility market. The funding will be used to accelerate business growth.
